The stories in this anthology do just that. They keep you wondering where they are leading you till the shadows catch up with you.

Packed With Thrills

~Ever read a book so good that you felt like the scenes were happening in front of your eyes? ~Where Shadows Follow is a collection of 8 different short stories of a similar theme, DARK. The stories are - A Man of Habbit - How Blue is My Sapphire! - In The Wake of Love - The Lady in White - Happily, Ever After? - Put Out The Light! - Smoke And Mirrors - Time In a Bottle ~I've read Deepti Menon earlier and I must say she has an impressive writing style. Let me tell you something about Deepti Menon's writing style. While reading the stories, you think you know what is happening, but in the end, it's all different from what you anticipated. I could never guess the endings until I read 'em. So yeah, 10 points for the writing style!!! ~The description of the scenes are vivid. It feels as if everything is happening in front of my eyes and I'm watching everything with bare eyes. She made every story interesting with her writing. Every story had endings blurry and I'm left with questions and I really wanna know the endings. The writer left the endings to the reader's imagination and that's good because there is no right or wrong now, just a different possibility which makes it even more interesting. ~I also want to add that I was sad that the stories were all short stories and I really want a big novel in this writing style. Deepti Menon did a tremendous job in such a small book, I must say!! ~The stories were all thrilling and gripping. It's a short read of 60 pages filled with darkness. This book is recommended to beginners as well as readers. It will send chills down your spine with its twists and turns.
