The Labyrinth – Will she ever get out?
Bela is a lower-middle-class girl staying in a suburb in Mumbai. She feels her life is getting wasted as she spends half her day traveling by local trains and the other half slogging at work to feed her thankless mother and younger brother. Her boyfriend is an aimless guy who doesn't stick to a single workplace. Her mom wants to marry her off to someone who is willing to pay them money and keep supporting them financially. Doesn't matter how old he is or how many times he has been married. Thus Bela meets Alok, a rich divorcee, who just wants to marry a simple girl like her. He gives Bela an offer she can't refuse. And it seems like he is too good to be true. But what is the real price? As Bela gets married to Alok and embarks on her journey as the new bride and the queen of his palace, she starts noticing the weird things in the house - the expressionless maids who do not make eye contact, the mother-in-law with a vacant stare, and the three, eerie trees in the backyard. The more she tries to calm and console herself that everything is normal, more and more unexplainable things start happening. And this is just the beginning. Has Bela entered a labyrinth that she may never be able to get out of?
